How do you think ideas such as democracy factor into societal ideas about hierarchy in sports?
From my personal view Jordan 3 Italia , there is a relationship between sport and democratization. From the sociological as well as historical perspective, sports do affects egalitarianism level in society in which the individual sport is played. There is a horizontal sport that embodies and fosters egalitarian interactions, and vertical sports incorporating and promoting hierarchical relations (Christesen, 2012). There is also a society where sport is played and watched largely and that where it is an ancillary venture. These variables do interact with the horizontal mass sport having the capacity to enhance and inhibit democratization in societal. Hence, horizontal mass sports always reinforce and broaden democratization.
Do you think that disagreements are handled differently on teams in countries which have a dictator style government than countries which have a more democratic model?
From my personal view Jordan 14 Italia , disagreements get handled differently on teams in countries with a dictator style government than countries with a more democratic model. Usually, sport organization models, are characterized by diversity. This shows that such approaches and implemented policies are not the exclusive outcome of rational decisions but instead of a particular social-historical context in the styles through which decisions are taken (Lichtenstein & Harris, 1993). Therefore, in countries with a dictator style government Jordan 11 Italia , disagreements are resolved in a more dictatorial way. On the other hand, countries with more democratic model always resolve sports conflicts in a more democratic way. Dictatorship is always transmitted into the society systems as well as institutions. Therefore, if it is used by those in political leadership, it automatically becomes cultured into resolving disagreements in other institutions like in teams.
